MULTI-FUNCTIONAL
The multifunctional media room is appointed with an Alex sectional sleeper by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and a Melina Woven dining chair by Terry Hunziker from David Sutherland Showroom. The sideboard is from Z Gallerie, and the Hansel Natural Iron lamp is by Arteriors Home. (Tour the home.)
CITY VIEW
In the media room, audio equipment is concealed behind twisted felt panels designed by Hagstette and Jeanie Lai of Moufelt. A Cassina sofa and B&B Italia chair, both from Hive, sit atop a rug from Global Views. Caleb Freese’s mixed media overlooks the room, and silk draperies, fabricated by Mari Design, frame the city view. (Tour the home.)
ALL ABOARD
The top-floor media room is intentionally reminiscent of a ship, from its nautical beadboard walls and ceiling to the custom media cabinet’s hidden bunks. The Verellen sofa–upholstered with Boa, a textile by Nomi Fabrics–was custom-made with bench cushions sized to match twin mattresses. (Tour the home.)
LOFTY TIMES
Given its primary function as a media and game room, the lofty second-story living area is outfitted with extra-durable furniture. A multifunctional table designed by jamesthomas LLC gets a tufted top using Holly Hunt’s Great Outdoors velvet. Crate & Barrel’s Portico sofa and a Henredon chair provide a mix of comfortable seating options. (Tour the home.)
FREE MOVEMENT
Designer Juli Hodgson helped homeowner Steve Pollock select the furnishings and finishes, including Flexform’s Groundpiece sectional and Jiff side tables, all purchased through Inform Interiors in Vancouver, that reside in the living room. Vrieling Architectural built the custom walnut media wall, and Petrucci opened the room to the garden by swapping a solid wall for glass. (Tour the home.)
WITH A FRENCH ACCENT
The great room’s seating–a pair of sofas in a Fabricut textile and lounge chairs in a Robert Allen chenille–emphasizes comfort. A Lillian August coffee table is central to the space, while the round Habersham Home tables add colorful notes. Southland windows, dressed with draperies in a Robert Allen fabric, offer views to the pool. Grounding the room is a Decorative Carpets floor covering, and lighting the area is a Fine Art Lamps lantern. The urns filling the cabinet niches are from Four Hands. (Tour the home.)
THE FAMILY ROOM
Romo-upholstered chairs by The Charles Stewart Company and Emerson Bentley sofas covered in fabric by Vanguard Furniture face a Caracole console below the television in the family room. Theodore Alexander coffee table cubes and an occasional table by Sherrill Furniture offer elegant surfaces for drinks and snacks; the Genesis rug is from Stanton. (Tour the home.)
ONE IS NEVER ENOUGH
The three flat-screens in the living area are integrated with the home’s Crestron automation system, which was installed by Precision Tech Connect. Hinchman conceived the sectional, as well as the lacquered coffee table with a nested ottoman, and upholstered it in Kravet velvet. Near the Rene Cazares lounge chair is a Christian Liaigre side table. (Tour the home.)
ALONG THE INTRACOASTAL
In the family room, a Pasha sofa by Jesse joins a trio of Samba coffee tables by Cattelan Italia, all from Arravanti, as well as Porada’s Ara side chair from Anima Domus. The area rug from Niba Collections nods to the beachy scheme found throughout. A media wall of flush cabinetry, by Mutual Woodworking, keeps the space modern and houses a Sony television. (Tour the home.)
GETTING CURVY
The family room’s custom radial sectional covered in Kravet chenille cranks up the hangout volume and offers ample seating. Phillips Collection’s black lacquer pebble tables become resting spots for drinks or feet, while underfoot, a custom wool rug echoes the curved pattern of the sofa. (Tour the home.)
EXOTIC FEATURE
In the great room, Camerich sectionals from Hold It Contemporary Home give the family a comfortable place to enjoy the fireplace, which features a boldly patterned mix of granite and sandstone from Amazon Stones. (Tour the home.)
FRONT AND CENTER
Interior designers Michaele Dunsdon and Kristin Jensen appointed the room with A. Rudin sofas and a Poltrona Frau coffee table. (Tour the home.)
GROUNDED IN EARTH
Jennifer Post custom designed coffee tables, an extra deep sofa and side chairs, all by Soluzioni, for a cozy apres-ski atmosphere in the living room. A Samsung television from Campbell Audio Video provides entertainment, and LA-based artist Chris Classen’s three-panel painting splashes color into the earth-toned space. (Tour the home.)
COMFY AFFAIR
Movie screenings in the media room are a comfy affair thanks to a Ray sofa by Antonio Citterio from B&B Italia in New York. The ottoman wears fabric from The Habitus Collection in New York, and the pouf by Fernando & Juan Diego Gerscovich is from YLiving in Walnut Creek, California. (Tour the home.)
